Connie Link Amphitheatre is a beautiful and unique performance venue that offers FREE or low cost entertainment for the whole family! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, kick back, relax and let us take care of you and yours! CASH ONLY concessions, such as soda/water, popcorn, candy, and frozen desserts will be available at a low cost.

A bit about the performance:
"Much Ado About Quite A Lot" is a new play by Nancy Steele Brokaw Produced by The Illinois Shakespeare Festival Summer of 2022 What’s going on in "Much Ado About Quite a Lot"? Friends stick together, people fall in love, and all is going well until a dirty trick threatens to undo everything. That’s when we learn the power of the word ‘nevertheless.’ What happens when things go terribly wrong, but someone decides nevertheless to forgive and move on? Join us as we romp through this 40-minute adapted play, based on William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About. Nothing written 400 years ago. Since then, some things have changed a lot and others, well, not so much. This production features five actors from the Illinois Shakespeare Festival acting company and it is directed by Illinois State University Professor of Acting, Lori Adams. Presented in part through a grant from the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation.
