Description
It's time to audition! If you are an 8th-12th grader, come audition for one of our shows: "Monty Python's Spamalot" and "Footloose the Musical"! Please prepare to sing 16-32 bars. We will provide an accompanist or you will be able to plug into a speaker. We will provide monologues and ask that you pick one to read. We will publish the monologues soon. There will also be a dance portion to the audition, so come prepared to move. If you are called back then that means that the directors would like to see something specific from you. Music and scripts will be provided at that time. The cast list will be posted as soon as possible, usually late Saturday night. The list is published on the Facebook page NPR Summer Music Theatre and on the doors to the Community Activity Center (CAC). Everyone cast in the shows needs to attend the Company Meeting with a parent or guardian on Tuesday May 9 at 6p at the CAC. When and Where are auditions? Friday May 5 from 5p-10p and Saturday May 6 from 8a -11a. Callbacks will be held on Saturday May 6 from 1p-5p. Auditions are held at the Normal Community Activity Center (CAC) at 1110 Douglas St, Normal.
