All About Dance is Bloomington-Normal’s newest addition as a unique dance studio where kids, teens, and adults experience dance in an outrageously fun and non-competitive atmosphere.
Owner Kim Barnard hails from Bloomington, IL. Having over 30 years of dance experience behind her, Kim received her training from two incredible studios in Bloomington/Normal and in the Dance/Musical Theatre department of Illinois State University with a focus on ballet, jazz, and contemporary extensively.
Kim’s vision is to teach and mentor children while instilling confidence and positive values in each student. All About Dance is a place where everyone can experience the art of dance, promoting self-confidence, creativity, and success.

The kids’ program teaches the fundamentals of dance and proper technique, but also promotes poise, harnesses passion, and encourages a love for dance. The adult program is an extraordinarily effective and fun alternative to traditional workouts. The FYD classes offer an amazing cardio dance workout that will leave you wanting more!!
