In just 3 days, the highly anticipated sophomore album of tween and teen favorite quintet R5, Sometime Last Night, will be released! To celebrate, the pop-rock sensations have kicked off a U.S. tour, with a not-to-be-missed stop in Bloomington on July 28th!
Led by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Ross Lynch, R5 came together in 2009 and is comprised of Lynch's siblings Riker (bass/vocals), Rocky (lead guitar/vocals) and Rydel (keyboard/vocals) and friend Ellington "Ratliff" (drums/vocals). R5 has rapidly emerged as an exciting new voice in the world of pop rock. The band has moved one step closer to world domination with the release of their much-anticipated first single “Let’s Not Be Alone Tonight” off their upcoming sophomore album, the follow up to their hit debut album LOUDER, which rocketed to No. 1 on iTunes in 10 countries upon its September 24, 2013 release. The band has recently appeared on Good Morning America, Ellen and LIVE! with Kelly & Michael. You'll also remember Riker from Season 20 of ABC's smash hit Dancing with The Stars, and Ross as Austin Moon on the Disney Channel's hit comedy Austin & Ally.
This month's performance at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum will feature tunes from the Sometime Last Night album and favorites from LOUDER. Special guests include Jacob Whitesides and Ryland!
