You're Invited to a LEGO Block Party!

Saturday, Sept. 22 10am-4pm & Sunday, Sept. 23 2pm-4pm

August 29, 2012

Legos: they aren't very fun to step on, but they are very fun to build with!  If your kids love Legos, you won't want to miss the LEGO Block Party hosted by the Normal Public Library.

Children of all ages are invited to check out some Lego works of art and show off some of their very own Lego masterpieces.  The whole family can get in on the fun during a Lego Read & Build Family Story Hour during which everyone will get to paint with Legos.  There will also be games like Brick Tac Toe and Speed Build, a Lego Bridge Building Contest, a Create-a-Thon that will be judged by the audience, and more!  This two day event takes place on Saturday, September 22 from 10am to 4pm and Sunday, September 23 from 2pm-4pm.  Click HERE for a full schedule of events.  The Lego Block Party is FREE and open to the public.

Interested in displaying your Lego creation?  Click HERE for more information on how to reserve your booth space.  Space is limited so register today.

The Lego Block Party will take place at the Normal Public Library Community Room.  The library is located at 206 W. College in Normal.  For more information call the Children's Department 309-454-4668.
