In recognition of World Breastfeding Week, WIC invites you to join them for the 2nd annual Breastfeeding Awareness Walk on Saturday, August 6th. Take a 1/2 mile stroll through downtown Bloomington with other mothers, fathers and friends from the breastfeeding community.
Take advantage of the photo booth opportunity at registration and enjoy refreshments outside the Museum of History as attendees take a rest break to allow moms to participate in the Big Latch ON, an annual worldwide event that hopes to break a world record for the most mother-child pairs breastfeeding at once.
Registration will begin at 9:30am at the McLean County Health Department. The walk will kick off at 10am with the Big Latch ON taking place at 10:30.
