Kick off the new school year and say Au Revoir to summer at the Miller Park Zoo Back to School Ice Cream Social! This year's event will take place August 7, 2021 from 12-3pm. In lieu of the child admission price, the Zoo will be accepting school supply donations for Bloomington High School students. Bring any of the following items and receive free child admission with a paying adult.
- Pencils (regular or mechanical)
- Pens (Black)
- 3” ring binders
- loose leaf paper
- spiral notebooks
- 2 pocket folders -colored pencils
- Backpacks (gently used-new)
Once inside the Zoo, enjoy Face Painting by the Zoo Lady and her crew, a free cup of ice cream (available at the
concession stand), and a back-to-school craft-mini notebook decorated with an animal picture.
Miller Park Zoo is located at 1020 S. Morris Avenue in Bloomington.
