Fourth annual DeWitt County Farm Crawl coming this fall! Last year’s Farm Crawl attracted over 1,500 visitors to our small family farms. Visit two unique specialty farms east of Clinton, Illinois as they jointly host open houses at each farm. Enjoy an early autumn day “crawling” from farm to farm.

Come visit DeWitt County to see each of our individual operations. Tour the farms, visit the animals, meet the farmers, sample the goodies, opportunities to purchase locally grown & produced products, and lots of fun in the beautiful Central Illinois countryside as you drive yourself from farm to farm! Entrance to all of the farms is FREE.

Each farm is planning family friendly tours and activities. A tractor drive conducted by the DeWitt County Farm Bureau will be held in conjunction with the Farm Crawl. Tractors will drive throughout the DeWitt County countryside making stops at both farms.

The two farms include: Triple M Farm: Mariah’s Mums & More and Timberview Alpaca Farm. Visit the Farm Crawl website at www.dewittcountyfarmcrawl.com for more details, maps and directions. Or call 217-722-3531 for more information.

Triple M Farm: Mariah’s Mums & More (Greg & Mariah Anderson) - Triple M Farm was established in 2009 with their first crop of 300 fall mums. Today they grow 10,000 mums. In 2014, they expanded their season beyond fall to provide the community with a local source of bedding plants, cut flowers and farm fresh produce from late spring to fall. During Farm Crawl they will have their mums and vegetables available for sale. They will also have an educational farm fun zone for kids, self-guided tours, antique tractor displays, live music and painting performance, and a cooked sweet corn concession along with other local food vendors.

Timberview Alpaca Farm (Rick & Elizabeth Lord) - Timberview Alpacas was established in 2010 with the goal of raising and breeding alpacas for sale. Today they have grown their herd to 18 alpacas and use their alpacas’ fiber in the beautifully hand felted fashions and accessories they sell through their business Mama Iz’s Alpaca Creations. During the Farm Crawl they will have hand felted hats, fashion & cold/warm weather scarves and wraps, socks and kids items for sale. They will also conduct many kid activities throughout the day.
