Sofia the First is back and she's bringing along her sister Amber and Rapunzel for a Family Night Special event. Disney Junior presents Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy premiering Sunday, November 23 at 6pm CST on Disney Channel.

Last weekend we held a special sneak peek screening of Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy with our little princesses and their royal friends. Thanks to craft and snack ideas from Disney Junior, it was easy to make our party a special affair for everyone. Want to hold your own screening party during the 11/23 premiere? Here's some ideas for a Sofia the First themed bash.
- Visit DisneyJunior.com to download a Princess Party Premiere Kit.
- Print out paper crowns, tiaras and amulets to wear during the party.
- Serve snacks or drinks in Sofia the First themed cups (just print the cup wraps and tape them to the cups!).
- Discover what it means to be a princess with fun printable activities.
- Make butterfly hair clips inspired by the movie (this was a huge hit at our parties).

A Macaroni Review
Wondering what we thought of the show? Here's a review from my 4 year old Macaroni Kid:
I love it because it has Princess Ivy and Sofia the First AND Rapunzel and they ride on dragons. I like that Prince James tries to catch Princess Ivy's butterflies. Princess Ivy is a bad guy but acts nice to Amber so she can trick her. But good princesses are brave and nice and always win! Leya, age 4
