Sweet Summer: Letter from the Editor

I love all the sweet things that come with summer - locally grown fruit in its prime, frozen yogurt, sweet corn, funnel cakes at carnivals...yum. Even the air smells sweeter with all the gorgeous blooms around the area.

This newsletter is dedicated to some sweet things:

1. Information on a shoe drive to benefit Home Sweet Home Ministries
2. A cool idea for your next party (parties usually have cake and cake is sweet, right?)
3. Two sweet recipes (one pretty healthy, and one that I pretend is healthy!)
4. And a road trip idea for you and your sweet kids

Don't forget about our upcoming Back to School Ice Cream Social at Miller Park Zoo on August 9th. It's going to be, you guessed it, pretty sweet.
