Back into the school routine... sharpen the pencils and break out the books, but let’s add some fun and movement! If you are looking for some extracurricular activities for your kids, we have a variety of fun, physically active programs that can work for your family. The YMCA also offers Home School Physical Education classes on Fridays! Check it out:
  • Home School PE Classes: register now through September 10th. The first class begins September 18th.
  • Performing Arts Classes: registration is open for dance, theatre, piano, and more! Classes begin September 12th.
  • YPALS Plus/School Break Days: on most days Unit 5 is not in session, the Y hosts an entire day of activities for kids age 5-12! Registration is open!
  • Judo: registration open!
  • Youth Basketball League: open registration is happening now!  Register online, call or stop in.
  • Learn to Swim: swim lesson registration is open for fall II and fall III sessions!  Fall II session begins September 28th and fall III begins October 26th.
You don’t have to be a member to take advantage of our fantastic youth and adult programming, but YMCA membership includes reduced program fees for all these great youth programs, as well as unlimited group and water fitness classes, racquetball courts, pool, and fitness equipment. Better yet, membership dues help us continue fulfilling our goals of creating strong kids and assisting families and the community! Financial assistance is available.
