Letter from the Editor

August 26, 2015
My house is quiet (too quiet!) as my nest is officially empty during the school day with my youngest off to Kindergarten this year. You've probably noticed that the whole area is pretty quiet; except for Target and Walmart as the ISU students are back - spare yourself from the crowds and don't go, unless it is first thing in the morning before they wake up!

With it being a relatively quiet week around Bloomington-Normal, now's a good time to get the kids signed up for fall programs if you haven't already. In this week's newsletter we tell you a little about the YMCA's fall youth programs and ISU's Saturday Creative Arts classes - both are fantastic options for fall.

Organizing your family's September calendar? Be sure to add the Redbird Football game on September 12 and the pre-game fun with Reggie's Kids Club. Macaroni Kid will be sponsoring the Kids Zone and we hope to see all of you there. It will be loads of fun! Learn more (and enter to win a cool collectible oyo) HERE.

Enjoy your macaroni!
